Kevin M. Brennan is a Certified Medical Illustrator located in Chicago's Medical District and the head and founder of BioViz Studios. He has over 14 years of experience working on award winning animations, illustrations, and interactive teaching applications. His website is coming soon.
Kevin earned his BA in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University where he worked on several research projects on invertebrate morphology and development. He earned his MS in 2015 in Biomedical Visualization at the University of Illinois at Chicago focusing on animation and building 3D models for virtual reality from cross-sectional data.
Kevin previously worked at Argosy Medical | Visible Body, as a medical animator and senior content developer. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at UIC in the Biomedical Visualization Program where he teaches classes in Animation, Biomedical Visualization Techniques, molecular visualization, and serves on multiple research committees. His students have won awards for their work at the university, national, and international levels. Kevin is also currently a Board Member and Co-Editor for the Journal of Biocommunication.
He is currently enrolled in the Allan McKay FXTD mentorship, a yearlong course with Allan McKay in digital special effects.
