Medical Animation Stills

The gallery above illustrates a research-based artistic interpretation of apoptosis using Blobmesh and PFlow, rendered in VRay. (Copyright Andrew Schulte 2019).

The gallery above depicts examples from a HIV molecular visualization assignment. Students are provided with experimentally determined protein and virus structure models of HIV, imported from autoPACK/autoCELL The goal is to create an engaging depiction of the virus. This assignment, while only a single frame, requires extensive planning and careful selection of render passes and elements to allow for efficient changes without re-rendering.
